Books are just the beginning. Our dedicated staff can help you to find what you need, access primary research material, and develop your study and research skills.

Moreon Library services

Skills@Library supports taught students to develop academic skills, through online resources, workshops, 1-to-1 appointments, drop-in sessions and teaching in the curriculum.

Moreon Study support

Researcher@Library teams help staff and PhD researchers with open access, research data management, literature searching and increasing citations: online, in person and through workshops and events

Moreon Research support

Delve into our outstanding collections of rare books, manuscripts, art and archives and find unique primary research material.

Moreon Special Collections

Our libraries

There are four libraries on campus, along with two publicgalleriesdisplaying rare items and artworks. There is one off-campus library in St James's Hospital.

24-hour access to core texts for taught courses with inspiring spaces designed for undergraduate study – write your essay looking out at the Leeds skyline.

Moreon Laidlaw Library

Our largest library, with six levels of spacious and open plan study areas. Contains research collections for engineering, law, sciences and social sciences, and the postgraduate Research Hub.

Moreon Edward Boyle Library

A traditional and tranquil study space, with arts, cultural industries, humanities, languages and performing arts collections, and the Special Collections Brotherton Research Centre.

Moreon Brotherton Library

Specialist library with plenty of silent study space and a group study area for dentistry, health sciences, medicine and psychology, on level 7 of the Worsley Building.
